Chelsey Farris produced another award-worthy effort in Lorain County’s 3-0 sweep over Lakeland, earning her second OCCAC Player of the Week honor of the young season. She pounded 15 kills with a lone error on 24 attempts (.583 hitting percentage).
The sophomore middle blocker added five digs, three service aces and a solo block. In total, Farris was directly responsible for 19 points. She opened the season as the conference player of the week (Aug. 22) as well.
