SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Elizabeth Sicking (Sinclair) and Bobby Diamond (Columbus State) are the OCCAC Volleyball Players of the Week for Oct. 7-13. Both are repeat performers from earlier this season and as freshmen in 2018.
ELIZABETH SICKING
Sinclair Community College | D-II
Sicking hauls in her 10th career weekly league honor. She was dominate in a road win at Edison State, blasting 21 kills at .500 clip (21-2-38) and digging 18 balls in the three-set sweep (6.00/set). Sicking sniped the Chargers for three points from the service stripe as well, running her points per set average to a hefty 8.00.
BOBBY DIAMOND
Columbus State Community College | D-III
Diamond served as the Cougars’ primary offensive weapon, bouncing 25 kills in eight sets played last week. She also sent back seven blocks, including two solo swats, in earning her fifth career OCCAC weekly accolade.
