No Holiday Break for the OCCAC Weekly Awards as Three More Honored

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair’s Jack Hendricks and Korryn Millerton, along with Vanecia Billings of Lorain County, have been named the OCCAC Players of the Week for Dec. 30-Jan. 5.

KORRYN MILLERTON
Sinclair Community College | D-II Women’s Player of the Week
Millerton snags her first career award after averaging a double-double last week during two games for the Tartan Pride, registering 18.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per contest. She shot 47% (15-32) from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers. Six of her 24 boards came on the offensive glass and she committed just three turnovers in 75 minutes of play.

Sinclair Community College | D-II Men’s Player of the Week
Hendricks is a first-time honoree as well, doing so after posting 25.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game in a pair of Sinclair wins. He, too, shot 47% (16-34) from the field but was most impressive from long range. Hendricks drilled 15-of-31 (48%) long balls for the week, including a school-record 11 made 3-pointers in a 112-67 conference victory over Lorain County.

Lorain County Community College | D-III Women’s Player of the Week
Billings returns to the winners circle for the second time this season, previously bestowed the honor on Nov. 18. Her latest award-worthy effort included 17 points and 15 rebounds (seven offensive), representing her ninth double-double of the season.
