Sixteen teams across the country still have a shot at becoming the 2019 NJCAA D-II Softball National Champions and two of those squads hail from the Ohio Community College Athletics Conference (OCCAC). Both Cuyahoga and Sinclair begin play in the double elimination tournament on Wednesday (May 22) at 4:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. CT) in Clinton, Miss.
The Triceratops, seeded 14th, face #3-seed Phoenix in the opening round while the 10th-seeded Tartan Pride are set for a first-round battle against St. Louis (#6-seed). If both teams win or both teams lose, they would face off against each other in the subsequent round.
