James, Prichard Seize Conference Honors

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A pair of first-time recipients were named the OCCAC’s Basketball Players of the Week (Dec. 31-Jan. 6) as Kierre James (Sinclair) and Dakota Prichard (Edison State) earned the weekly accolades.

Sinclair Community College | D-II Women
James averaged 21 points and five assists per game in a split week for the ninth-ranked Tartan Pride. She knocked down a total of nine 3-pointers on 20 attempts (45%) and added four rebounds, three steals. James was a key contributor in both road contests, hitting eight field goals and dishing out five assists in each.

DAKOTA PRICHARD
Edison State Community College | D-II Men
Prichard lifted the Chargers to a 98-89 win over Miami University – Hamilton by putting forth a 24-point, 14-rebound effort in just 27 minutes played. He added two blocks, an assist and steal to his double-double while dropping in 9-of-11 field goal attempts and 5-of-7 foul shots.
